Growing up, I have always had an interest in photography. When I was younger and didn’t have a camera, I used any device I had to take photos - even a little Nokia phone! It wasn’t too many years after that, I got my first camera as a Christmas present and got to take it for a trip around the South Island that summer. I am mostly self taught with help of youtube and doing photography for a year in school.
In 2019, I decided to take photography seriously, and decided to create a business with a focus on equine photography - mostly going out to events with the odd photoshoot. In 2022, I decided to branch out into other kinds of photography, which created Gold Moon Photography, now known as Gold Moon Studio. In 2023, I decided to take the leap into doing weddings. I love capturing memories of special moments that want to be remembered for life, whether it is viewed digitally, or a beautiful canvas on your wall.
